The 1940 US Federal Census for Wekiwa, Tulsa, Oklahoma records 40-year-old, Arkansas-born Elmer C Lingo, his 32-year-old, Missouri-born wife Jaunita [sic] [Lutes] Lingo and their five Oklahoma-born children, 16-year-old Banita [sic], 11-year-old Cornell [sic], 9-year-old Robert, 6-year-old Royce, and 3-year-old Patria. The family is living at at West 72 W Ave. They were living in the same house in 1935. Elmer has completed eighth grade. Juanita has completed three years of high school, Bonita has completed eighth grade. Carnell has completed third grade. Robert has completed second grade. Neither Royce nor Patria have attended school. Elmer is a crane driver, has worked 40 hours in the past week and 52 weeks in the past year, earning $1,164. Juanita is a housewife who is not looking for work. Bonita is a student who is not looking for work. No one has an outside source of income. Bob will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs. Bob was preceded in death by parents, sister; Bonita Harris and a brother Carnell Lingo. The family would like to thank his personal nurse Tina and Rose Rock Hospice for all the care and comfort they gave.
