Marvin Earl Whaley, 93, of Pearcy, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2015. He was born January 4, 1922 in Fresno, California. Earl retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and later worked for the United States Postal Service.

Loving survivors include his wife, Grace Ann Kuntz-Whaley, of Pearcy; step-son, Michael (Paula) Timmons, of Spring Valley, California; step-son, Jim (Joy) Kuntz, of Little Rock; step-son, Terry (Sharon) Kuntz, of Pearcy; sister, Jean Patterson, of San Antonio, Texas; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service in Earls honor will be held in California at a later date. His niece, Karen Rachelle Hansen will officiate. Inurnment will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in California.
