Fourteen of those lived to adulthood and raised children; two others, George Herman, died in an accident at the age of seven, and Joseph Benedict, Anne's twin, died in infancy. She was also preceded in death by her three husbands, George Day, Allen C. Hutcheson Jr. and Ray Albers and one grandson, George Schulz Day, who died on December 17, 1988.
