In the 1870 US Federal Census for Franklin, Johnson, Indiana, 40-year-old Indiana-born Elizabeth [McCaslin] Carr is keeping house for two of her Indiana-born children, 7-year-old Maggie [Margaret Ann] and 3-year-old Mary [Mary Jane]. Elizabeth's 4-year-old daughter Hattie [Harriet] is living with her aunt Mary McCaslin Morgan.
