These Indiana-born children are 5-year-old William, and 1-year-old Lillie. The family is living in a house that Calvin owns.

In the 1910 US Federal Census for Marion, Lawrence, Indiana, 39-year-old Indiana-born Calvin and his 32-year-old Indiana-born wife Ida [McLaine] Terry have been married 17 years and have had three children, two are living; 15-year-old Willie and 11 year old Lillie, both born in Indiana. Also in the Terry household is a nephew 13-year-old Raymond Terry. They are living in a house that Calvin owns, free of mortgage. Calvin is illiterate, Ida and the children are literate. He is married with one child and doesn't claim exemption.

In the 1920 US Federal Census for Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio, 42-year-old Indiana-born Ida [McLaine] Terry has married 51-year-old Indiana-born Milton Moffett and brought her Indiana-born Terry children to live with him. They are 25-year-old Willie (listed as married but no wife is present in the household), 21-year-old widowed Lillian (recorded as Terry, no married name listed), 9-year-old Thelma, and 7-year-old Homer. William or Lillian's Indiana-born children, last name recorded as Terry, are 5-year-old Robert, 4-year 2-month old Clarence and 2-year 2-month old Louise. Milton is a laborer in a brass foundry and Willie is a "car maker in the car shops". Milton, Ida, Willie and Lillian are literate. Thelma and Homer have attended school in the past year.
