These Missouri-born children are 10-year-old Arlie, 8-year-old Lewis, 6-year-old Cecil, 4-year-old Laura Edna and 1-year-old Harold. The family is living in a rented house. Lewis and Cecil have attended school in the past year. Jacob, Hallie and Arlie can read, write and speak English. Everyone's parents were born in Missouri.

The family is living on Main Street. Jake Sr is farming rented acreage. Hallie and Arlie are telephone operators. Lewis and the younger Jake are farm laborers. J. C. Calvert died at 12 p.m. on 19 Dec 1945 at his farm home located on Route #4, St. Joseph, Washington Township, Buchanan, Missouri of carcenoma of the stomach and bowel. He had not served in the military and did not have a Social Security number. He was married and his 65-year-old wife, Hallie Mae, was still living. Jacob's birth date was 6 Aug 1878 and he was 67-years 4-months and 13-days old when he died. He'd lived in Washington township all his life [sic].
