Obituary- North Vernon Sun, Sunday, November 25, 1972 Mrs. Maggie Spicer McCaslin dies Mrs. Maggie Spicer McCaslin, 99, a life-long residient of Jennings and Jefferson Counties, died Thursday at the North Vernon Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Bear Funeral Home, Dupont, with burial in Dupont Cemetery. Mrs. McCaslin and her late husband, Charles, operated the Dupont telephone exchange for a number of years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Auston, Dupont; Mrs. William F Mann, Sr., Port Charlotte, Fla.; two grandchildren, Mrs. Betty Dodd, Lexington, Ky., and William Mann Jr., Route 2, North Vernon; six grandchildren and one great grand child.
