Howard is missing from this census and may be presumed to have died.

They have had four children and all four are living with them, 21-year-old Gavin R, 19-year-old Harry C, 11-year-old Jessie M and 4-year-old Harry R. [yes, there are two sons named Harry listed in this household. The yougest ones name is Harvey]. Also in their household is Maggies widowed mother, 63-year-old Elizabeth [Muster] McCaslin. Elizabeth has born 4 children but only two are living in 1900. These two are George Seaton and Maggie. Elizabeths last name has been mistranscribed as McBalin. James owns the land he is farming.

In the 1910 US Federal Census for Madison Ward 5, Jefferson, Indiana, 53-year-old factory foreman James Cline and his 47-year-old wife Maggie have been married 32 years and have had four children, all of whom are living. The two that are living with them in a house they rent at 619 Third Street are their oldest and youngest sons, 30-year-old factory laborer Roscoe [Gavin Roscoe] amd 14-year-old school boy Harvey.

In the 1920 US Federal Census for Greensburg, Washington, Decatur, Indiana, 24-year-old butcher Harvey and his 23-year-old wife Mary [Clutch] Cline have in their household their sons, 2-year 10-month old William and 1-year 1-month old Richard, and Harveys widowed mother 56-year-old Margaret Cline. The family is living in a rented house at 227 Freight(?) Street

In the 1930 US Federal Census for Greensburg, Washington, Decatur, Indiana, 51-year-old Indiania-born Rosco [Gavin Roscoe, transcribed Rasco] and his 26-year-old Missouri-born wife Coy [Carter] Cline married when he was 35- and she was 20-years old. They have in their household their children, 15-year-old Indiana-born James B, 11-year-old Indiana-born Margaret, 10-year-old Indiana-born Charles and 5-year-old Missouri-born Martha J, and Roscoes 66-year-old widowed mother Margaret [McCaslin] Cline. The family is living in a rented house at 222 East North Street for which they pay $15 a month. Roscoe is employed as an automobile salesman, Coy is an electric operator in a shirt factory, James is a dairy deliveryman and grandmother Margaret is a restaurant cook. All of them have worked on the last regular working day. All of the children, except 5-year-old Martha, have attended school in the past year.

Her doctor was Boyd L Mahuron. Margaret was female, white, and the widow of James Cline. Her usual occupation was cook. She was 76-years-, 3-months-, and 25-days-old, born in Indiana on 10 Sep 1863 to Strawder [sic] McCasli [sic] and Elizabeth Muster. Both parents were born in Indiana. The informant was her son, Roscoe Cline, of 603 E Main St, Greensburg Indiana. Margaret was buried 14 Jan 1940 in DuPont, Indiana, funeral director Rankin & Wenning of Greenburg, Indiana.
