In the 1880 US Federal Census for North, Marshall Indiana, 41-year-old farmer Jacob ahd his 38-year-old wife Anna [Himes] Keyser have in their household their children, 17-year-old Emily (who has married William Lineberry, but is listed as a Keyser), 13-year-old Schuyler and 7-year-old Olive, Annas mother 55-year-old widow Catherine Himes [sic Heim], the hired man 20-year-old Dane Espie, and their son-in-law, Emilys husband, 22-year-old minister William Lineberry. Schuyler and Olive have attended school in the past year. Jacobs father was born in Ohio and his mother in Pennsylvania. Annas father was born in Switzerland and her mother in Bavaria. William Lineberrys parents were born in North Carolina.
