Alene Marshall Anschutz Wilkerson,85 died Mar. 23,1996 at St. Edward's Mercy Medical center, Fort Smith.

She was born June 19,1910 at Greensburg, KS to Claude E. Sr and Gertrude Turner Marshall. She was a 1928 graduate of Minneola High School and graduated from Baker University at Baldwin with a degree in Elementary Education. A Fort Smith resident since 1995 having lived in Dodge City for 42 years, she was a retired teacher, teaching at Kingsdown, Spearville and Dodge City schools for 32 years.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star both at Dodge city, Ks and was a member of Kansas Retired Teacher's Assoc.

On June 23,1937 she married Clint Anschutz at Garden City, KS. He died June 13,1967. On March 19,1978, she married Charlie W. Wilkerson at Little River. He died Jan.22,1984.

Survivors include a son, Gary Anschutz of Fort Smith ; brother, Louie Marshall and Duane Marshall of Dodge City, KS; sister, Nadine Olander of Little River and three grandsons.

Funeral was held at First United Methodist church with Rev. Harold P. Cooper presiding.
