He was born Dec. 2, 1953. His parents were Dean Holcomb and Joan (Cooley) Mardis. He married Brenda Lahmeyer of Milwaukee, Wis., on Oct 2, 1982. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Steven and Michael Mardis; a bro- ther, Gary Mardis of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sisters, Amy Hazelett of Chase, Mo., and Carol Kusters of Kansas City, Mo; a grandmo- ther, Beulah Mae Mardis, of Frank- lin; two aunts; one uncle; and sev- eral nieces and nephews. A memorila service was conduc- ted Wednesday. Arrangements were handled by DeBaun Funeral Home in Terre Haute.
