Mary Louise has borne nine children, eight are living. They have in their household their Arkansas-born children, 15-year-old Sarah M, 13-year-old Stella L, 11-year-old Noah J, 7-year-old twins Monroe and Otto, 5-year-old Ester [sic] L, 3-year-old Ethel and 9-month old William C. Sarah has attended school one month of the past year; Stella and Noah have attended school two months of the past year. John is farming land he owns, free of mortgage. John, Mary Louise, Sarah, Stella and Noah can read, write and speak English. Johns' parents were born in Alabama, Mary Louise' father was born in Tennessee and her mother in Arkansas; the children's father was born in Alabama and their mother in Arkansas.

Ethel, William and Dale have attended school in the past year. Everyone except Dale and Tommie can read and write. Everyone can speak English. John is farming rented land. John's parents were born in the United States; Mary Louise' parents were born in Tennessee; the children's parents were born in Arkansas.
