In the 1880 US Federal Census for Clark, Johnson, Indiana, 28-year-old Indiana-born laborer Royal [John Royal] and his 27-year-old Indiana-born wife Nancy [Hemphill] Logan have in their household their Indiana-born children, 5-year-old Addie E and 4-year-old Ora L. Royal is illiterate. Royal's parents were born in Kentucky; Nancy's parents were born in Indiana; the children's parents were born in Indiana

Ora Logan and Minnie Tapp married on 21 Feb 1894 in Johnson County, Indiana. This is recorded in Book 7 page 23.

In the 1900 US Federal Census for Clark, Johnson, Indiana, 23-year-old Indiana-born farm laborer Ora L and his 23-year-old Kentucky-born wife Minnie E [Tapp] have been married six years and have had three children, two are living. These two Indiana-born children are 5-year-old Roy D and 2-year-old Clifford [sic]. Also in this household is a boarder, 53-year-old Indiana-born painter and paperhanger Thomas M Burk. This household is living in a rented house. All the adults can read, write and speak English. Ora's parents were born in Indiana; Minnie's parents were born in Kentucky; the children's father was born in Indiana and their mother in Kentucky; Thomas' parents were born in Kentucky.

In the 1910 US Federal Census for Needham, Johnson, Indiana, 34-year-old Indiana-born farmer Ora L and his 33-year-old Missouri-born [sic] wife Minnie E [Tapp] Logan have been married sixteen years and have had five children, four are living. These Indiana-born children are 15-year-old farm laborer Roy D, 12-year-old farm laborer Arnold N [sic, Clifford in the 1900 Census], 9-year-old Ethel N and 4-year-old Cecile N. Arnold and Ethel have attended school in the past year. Ora is doing "truck farming" on mortgaged land, Roy is "working out" and Arnold is working on the home farm. Ora, Minnie, Roy and Arnold can read, write and speak English. Ora's parents were born in Indiana; Minnie's father was born in Kentucky and her mother in Missouri [sic]; the children's father was born in Indiana and their mother in Missouri [sic].

In the 1920 US Federal Census for Needham, Johnson, Indiana, 43-year-old Indiana-born Ora L and his 41-year-old Missouri-born [sic] wife Minnie E [Tapp] Logan have in their household two of their Indiana-born children 21-year-old Arnold and 9-year-old William. William has attended school in the past year. Ora, Minnie and Arnold can read, write and speak English. The family is living on a farm that Ora owns, but with a mortgage. Ora and Arnold are farm laborers who are "working out". Ora's parents were born in Indiana; Minnie's father was born in Kentucky and her mother in Missouri [sic]; the children's father was born in Indiana and their mother in Missouri [sic].

In the 1930 US Federal Census for Franklin, Johnson, Indiana, 54-year-old Indiana-born Ora L and his 53-year-old Missouri-born [sic] wife Minnie E [Tapp] Logan were married when they both were 16-years old. They have in their household their youngest Indiana-born son, 19-year-old William and William's wife, 17-year-old Edith [maiden name unknown] who were married when he was 18- and she was 16-years old. The family is living in a house at 649 North Hurricane which Ora owns worth $600. They have a radio. Everyone can read, write and speak English. Ora is a section hand for a steam railroad, Minnie is a self-employed seamstress, and William is a saw cutar [sic cutter] for a keck [?] factory. All have worked on the last regularly scheduled work day. Ora and William have not served in the military. Ora's parents were born in Indiana; Minnie's father was born in Kentucky and her mother in Missouri [sic]; William's father was born in Indiana and their mother in Missouri [sic]; Edith's parents were born in Indiana.

Ora Logan died in 1958 and was buried in the Second Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Needham, Johnson, Indiana.
