In the 1930 US Federal Census for Franklin, Johnson, Indiana, 54-year-old Indiana-born Ora L and his 53-year-old Missouri-born [sic] wife Minnie E [Tapp] Logan were married when they both were 16-years old. They have in their household their youngest Indiana-born son, 19-year-old William and William's wife, 17-year-old Edith [maiden name unknown] who were married when he was 18- and she was 16-years old. The family is living in a house at 649 North Hurricane which Ora owns worth $600. They have a radio. Everyone can read, write and speak English. Ora is a section hand for a steam railroad, Minnie is a self-employed seamstress, and William is a saw cutar [sic cutter] for a keck [?] factory. All have worked on the last regularly scheduled work day. Ora and William have not served in the military. Ora's parents were born in Indiana; Minnie's father was born in Kentucky and her mother in Missouri [sic]; William's father was born in Indiana and their mother in Missouri [sic]; Edith's parents were born in Indiana.
