In the 1910 US Federal Census for Hugo, Choctaw, Oklahoma, 34-year-old Texas-born sign painter Andrew B and his 29-year-old Oklahoma-born wife Ida B [Harrison] Camden have been married eight years and have had one child, who is living. This Oklahoma-born child is 6-year-old Leroy H. The family is living is a house that Andrew owns, free of mortgage. Everyone speaks English. Andrew's parents were borm in Arkansas; Ida's father was born in Oklahoma and her mother in Missouri; Leroy's father was born in Texas, and his mother in Oklahoma.
In the 1920 US Federal Census for Durant, Bryan, Oklahoma, 43-year-old Texas-born sign painter Andrew B and his 39-year-old Oklahoma-born wife Ida [Harrison] Camden have in their household their Oklahoma-born son 15-year-old Leroy. The family is living in a house at 411 South Sixth Avenue, which Andrew owns, but with a mortgage. Leroy has not attended school in the past year as he is a "floor boy" for a garage. Everyone can read, write and speak English. Andrew's father was born in Virginia [sic] and his mother in Missouri [sic]; Ida's father was born in Missouri [sic] and her mother in Oklahoma [sic]; Leroy's father was born in Texas and his mother in Oklahoma.
Obituary contributed by TimelessSpirits on findagrave.com Obituary, Durant Weekly News, June 18, 1943 Andrew B. Camden, age 67, died Sunday at his home, 416 South Fourth. The deceased was born in Gainesville, Texas in 1876. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Holmes Funeral home.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida Camden, one sister, Mrs. Matthew of Rogers, Arkansas, and one brother, John Camden, Oklahoma City, who was here at the time of his death.
Pallbearers were Porter Newman, Victor Phillips, Troy Jumper, Foy Jumper, Mr. Hale and Hurley Williams.
