Frederick is an electrician and Wilbur is a civil engineer. All the adults are literate and speak English. Frederick's father was born in the US and his mother in Virginia [sic]; Frances' parents were born in Germany; Blanche and Mildred's parents were born in Minnesota; Wilbur's parents were born in the US; Corrine's father was born in North Dakota and her mother in Minnesota.
