In the 1930 US Federal Census for Englewood, Arapahoe, Colorado, 30-year-old Iowa-born Charles and his 30-year-old Missouri-born wife Arlie M [Calvert] DuBree were married when they each were 25-years old. They have in their household their Colorado-born one-year 2-month old daughter, Jean M. The family is living in a rented house at South Washington for which Charles pays $12 a month in rent. Charles is a carpenter, has worked on the last regularly scheduled work day and has served in WWI. Charles and Arlie can read, write and speak English. Charles' parents were born in Iowa; Arlie's parents were born in Missouri; Jean's father was born in Iowa and her mother in Missouri. Charles applied for his Social Security Number in Kansas before 1951. When Charles Dubree [sic] died on 18 Oct 1899, his residence where his last benefit was sent was in Saint Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri 64503.
