In the 1920 US Federal Census for Moral, Shelby, Indiana, 38-year-old Indiana-born farmer Harry M and his 39-year-old Indiana-born wife Alice D [Daisy Alice Weaver] Schloesser have in their household their 11-year-old Indiana-born son Earl M and a foster daughter, 19-year-old Indiana-born Florence M Copeland. Earl has attended school in the past year, but Florence has not. Harry's father was born in Indiana and his mother in Kentucky [sic]. Daisy's parents were born in Indiana [sic]. Florence's parents were born in Indiana. In the 1930 US Federal Census for Moral, Shelby, Indiana, 48-year-old Indiana-born farmer Harry M and his 50-year-old Indiana-born wife Alice [Daisy Alice Weaver] Schloesser were married when he was 24- and she was 26-year-old.
