In the 1885 US Federal Census for Burlingame, Osage, Kansas, 36-year-old Illinois-born farmer Milton M Beverly came to Kansas from Illinois, but his 34-year-old Indiana-born wife, Mary J [McCaslin] Beverly came to Kansas from Iowa. Milton has not served in the military. Milton and Mary have in their household their Kansas-born children, 12-year-old Frank M, 5-year-old Grace M and 3-year-old Flora B, and their hired man 26-year-old Missouri-born Isaac L Clooper. Also in their household are Grace's 24-year-old paper hanger husband Eugene VanLoo, and Grace and Eugene's 11-month old daughter Beryl. The family is living in an apartment at 133 East 30th Street. Milton and Mary have been married 26 years. Mary has borne three children and all of them are living with their parents. In the 1910 US Federal Census or Chicago, Cook, Illinois, 61-year-old Milton Beverly and his 57-year-old wife are living with their son-in-law, 33-year-old Eugene Vanloo, 30-year-old daughter Grace Vanloo and grandchildren, 10-year-old Beryl and 6-year-old Eugene Vanloo in an apartment at 361 E. 29th Street. Eugene is still a milkman. In the 1920 US Federal Census for Chicago, Cook, Illinois, 43-year-old milkman Eugene, his 40-year-old wife Grace [Beverly] Vanloo and their sons, 16-year-old Eugene H Jr and 9-year-old Roy M, are living in a duplex at 138 West 67th Street. Beryl, who would be 20-years old is not living at home. In the 1930 US Federal Census for Lockport, St Joseph, Michigan, 53-year-old Eugene, his 50-year-old wife Grace [Beverly] Vanloo were married when he was 21- and she was 18-years-old [abt 1898] They and their youngest son, 19-year-old Roy are living in a house on a farm for which Eugene pays $15 a month in rent. The family owns a radio. Eugene is a checker in a machine shop, Roy is a Freight Agent for the M C Railroad, both have worked in the past week. Neither has served in the military. Everyone is literate and speaks English. Eugene's father was born in Belgium and his mother in France. Grace's father was born in Illinois and her mother in Indiana. Roy's father was born in Louisiana and his mother in Kansas.
