LEONARD R. WESTMORELAND
Leonard R. Westmoreland, 77,
of 537 Gladstone, died Friday at
St. Joseph Hospital. Mr West-
moreland was a lifelong resident
of the Kansas City area. He was
a retired machine operator for
the Koppers Company. He was
an Army veteran of World War
I. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Paul-
ine A Westmoreland of the home;
a daughter, Mrs. Gerralyn Nicols,
5100 Palmer drive; a brother Ray-
mond Westmoreland Sr., 3023 Ar-
linton Court, Independence;
three sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Swear-
engen and Mrs. Blanche Riley,
both of Willis, Kan., and Mrs. Iva
Patrick, Blue springs, and three
grandchildren. Services will be at
1 o'clock Monday at the Earp
Truman Road Chapel: burial in
the Brooking Cemetery. Friends
may call from 3 to 5 o'clock today
at the chapel. |
