All the children except baby Erline have attended school in the past year. Everyone except Ehia and Erline are literate and speak English. Edward is farming rented land. Edward's parents were born in Illinois; Edith's parents were born in New York; the children's father was born in Illinois and their mother in Kansas. On 4 Feb 1942, 26-year-old James Jewell Fulton and 25-year-old Eva Erlina Morris, both of Wagoner, Wagoner, Oklahoma, applied for a marriage license at the Clay County, Missouri Courthouse. James states that he and Eve were not first cousins, nor related in any degree and he knew of no legal impediment to their marrige. This was signed by Jamse and witnessed by Lillian J Poage before Arthur L Hanna, Recorder of Deeds.
