Martha has born one living child, 3-year-old Minnesota-born Edna. Adolph is a waiter who immigrated to the US in 1881 and has lived here 19 years. He is a naturalized citizen. Adolph and Martha are literate and speak English. Adolph's parents were born in Switzerland; Martha's parents were born in Germany; Edna's father was born in Switzerland and her mother in Missouri. Adolf Hauser's wife, Mattie [Dotson] Hauser, died of burns on 7 Jun 1904. In the 1910 US Federal Census for Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, 39-year-old Switzerland-born Edolph [sic] Hauser has married for a second time to 27-year-old Minnesota-born Willie [maiden name unknown] Hauser.
