In the 1920 US Federal Census for Middletown, Butler, Ohio, 30-year-old Kentucky-born James Ingram and his 25-year-old Kentucky born wife Ethel [Langsworty] Ingram have in their household their Kentucky-born children, 5-year-old Lawrence and 2-month old James A, and Ethel's widowed mother and single sister, 62-year-old Kentucky-born Mary [Barker] Langsworthy and 17-year-old Kentucky-born Mabel. The family is living in a rented house at 426-1/2 Third Street. next door to Ethel's brother John Langworthy and his family. Neither Lawrence nor Mabel have attended school in the past year.
