In the 1930 US Federal Census for Miamisburg, Montgomery, Ohio, 34-year-old Ohio-born Harry E Wade and his 28-year-old Kentucky-born wife Mable G [sic] [Langworthy] Wade were married when he was 22- and she was 18-years old [abt 1920]. They have in their household their Ohio-born children 8-year-old Carl E, 6-year-old Wilbur A and 4-year-old twins, Vera L and Vivian D, and Mabel's widowed mother, 71-year-old Kentucky-born Mary E [Baker] Langworthy, who was married when she was 18-years-old. The family is living at 840 Sycamore Street in a rented house, for which Harry pays $15 a month in rent. Carl and Wilbur have attended school in the past year. Harry is a machinist in an "electrical refrigerator" company and Mabel is a "handler" in a paper making factory. Both have worked on the last regularly scheduled work day. Harry has not served in the military. All the adults are literate and speak English. Harry's parents were born in Ohio; Mabel's parents were born in Kentucky; the children's father was born in Ohio and their mother in Kentucky; Mary's parents were born in Kentucky.
