They have in their household their Illinois-born children, 5-year-old Emma M and 4-month old Gerald E. The family is living in a house that Williard owns, on a farmstead. They have a radio. Williard is a "salesman for an oil station" and has worked on the last regularly scheduled work day. He has not served in the military. Williard and Bernice are literate and speak English. Eveyone's parents were born in Illinois.
