In the 1900 US Federal Census for Clark, Johnson, Indiana, 39-year-old Kentucky-born farmer George and his 25-year-old Indiana-born wife Etta [Addie Etta Logan] Wild have been married for eight years and have had three children, all are living. These Indiana-born daughters are 6-year-old Cecile R, 4-year-old May A and 2-years old Christine J. George is farming land he owns, but with a mortgage. George and Etta can read, write and speak English. George's parents were born in Germany, Etta's parents were born in Indiana. Cecile and Lucy's parents were born in Indiana [sic] but Christine's father was born in Kentucky and her mother in Indiana.
