In the 1910 US Federal Census for Oak Creek, Routt, Colorado, 33-year-old Illinois-born William and his 24-year-old Nebraska-born wife Annie [maiden name unknown] Guyer who have been married four years and have had one child, 3-year-old Nebraska-born Elmer E. The family is living in a rented house on Oak Street. William is a miner, doing "company work" and has had no days without work in the past year. William and Annie can read, write and speak English. William's parents were born in Pennsylvania, Annie's in Indiana and Elmer's father was born in Illinois and his mother in Indiana. In the 1915 Kansas State Census for Earlton, Neosho, Kansas, 38-year-old Illinois-born butcher W [William] and his 30-year-old Nebraska-born wife, Martha [maiden name unknown] Guyer who have in their household William's Nebraska-born son by his first marriage to Annie, 7-year-old Nebraska-born Elmer E, and their 4-year-old Colorado-born daughter Edith. William came to Kansas from Colorado, Martha and Elmer from Nebraska and Edith from Colorado.[?] In the 1930 US Federal Census for Waring, Ness, Kansas, 67-year-old Iowa-born [sic] Orris [sic Orson] L and his 57-year-old Indiana-born wife Cordie L [Snodgrass] Sidebottom were married when he was 26- and she was 15-years old. They have in their household their youngest son, Kansas-born 18-year-old Ralph G. Orson and Ralph are doing general farming on a farm that Orson owns. Both worked on the last regularly scheduled work day. Neither have served in the military. Orson's and Cordie's parents were born in the United States. Ralph's father was born in Iowa [sic] and his mother in Indiana. Living next door is Orson and Cordie's Kansas-born 24-year-old son Ira B and his wife 20-year-old Kansas-born Lavon [Stull] Sidebottom who were 24- and 22-years old, respectively, when they married. Ira is doing wheat farming on rented land. Ira has worked on the last regularly scheduled work day and has not served in the military. Ira's and Lavonne's fathers were born in Iowa [sic] and their mothers in Indiana. And living next door to Ira and his family is his sister, 21-year-old Kansas-born Cordie I [Sidebottom] Guyer, her 22-year-old Nebraska-born husband Elmer E Guyer and their 3-month old Kansas-born son William E. Elmer and Cordie were married when he was 21- and she was 20-years old. Elmer is working for the Santa Fe Railroad in the signal service and has workd on the last regularly scheduled work day. Elmer's parents were born in Illinois, Cordie's father was born in Iowa [sic] and her mother in Indiana, William E's father was born in Nebraska and his mother in Kansas.
