On 17 Aug 1929, 48-year-old Alexander Healy and his family, 50-year-old Edith, 17-year-old Alexander Jr, 14-year-old Daniel, 13-year-old Eileen, and 11-year-old Helen [sic] arrive in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California from Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii on the City of Honolulu on route to Worland, Johnson, Wyoming. In the 1930 US Federal Census for Worland, Johnson, Wyoming, 49-year-old Utah-born Alexander and his 51-year-old Massachusetts-born wife Edith [Holden] Healy were married when he was 30-years old and she was 32-years old [abt 1911]. They have in their household their Massachusetts-born sons, 17-year-old Alexander Jr, 14-year-old Daniel S and their adopted Wyoming-born daughters, 14-year-old Eileen and 12-year-old Helen and a 22-year-old Kentucky-born servant, Ellen B Early. The family is living in a house, worth $8,000, on Culbertson Avenue that Alexander Sr owns. The family owns a radio. Alexander Sr is the president of a livestock loan [?] company and has worked on the last regularly scheduled work day. He has not served in the military. Alexander Jr, Daniel S, Eileen and Helen have attended school in the past year. Everyone reads, writes and speaks English. Alexander Sr's father was born in the Irish Free State, and his mother in Utah. Edith's parents were born in Maine. Alexander and Daniel's father was born in Utah and their mother in Massachusetts. Eileen and Helen's father was born in the United States and their mother in Wyoming.
